GPS Excavator Operator

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced GPS Excavator Operator to come and operate our modern caterpillar and komatsu 14-20 tonne excavators which are fitted out with leica GPS machine control. This role will play an important part in our large-scale earthwork projects such as waterway constructions and wetlands, so we are looking for someone who is passionate about their work and positively impacting the environment and the city they live in.

What you’ll bring:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, operating excavators with GPS equipment.

  • A Class 2 licence with W T R endorsements.

  • Experience using a variety of machinery such as skid-steer loaders, dozers and loaders is advantageous.

  • Proven leadership experience in a civil construction environment, with the ability to manage resources on site.

  • Respect for people, differing views and opinions, property, company plant and equipment.

  • A passion for working in an environmentally sustainable workplace.

  • Pride in ensuring all work undertaken is to the highest standard.
